Do we need to bring along our own bedcloths and towels?You do not have to. We provide you with bedcloths, towels and dish towels.
Are there any nice hiking paths nearby?There are opportunities for both, simple walks and more extended hiking tours e.g. to alpin huts, natural seas and mountain peaks.
Is there a nearby shop in the village?Yes, there is. It is a 10 minutes walk to the next shop. In the village Latzfons, there are a bakery, a "Despar" shop and another grocery.
Can we bring our pets (dogs, bunnies, ...) with us?Sure! We are fond of animals. Our farm offers much space for strolling for your pets. We charge an additional fee for dogs (details, see prices).
What's the weather? Do we need thick clothing?The evenings can be cool in September. A thick pullover is something most people will enjoy on these occassions. At hiking tours on the alps, windbreaker jackets and walking-tour shoes prove to be beneficial.
What is the size of the bed room?Please see apartments

How regular is the bus connection?Buses commute on an hourly basis from Latzfons to Klausen and Brixen.
Can we reach your site by train?You can travel by train to Brixen or to Klausen. We will collect you there or arrange a taxi to pick you up.
Is there a swimming pool nearby?The village Feldthurns (5 km away) offers an outdoor swimming bath with a nice lawn for sunbathing. Our guests especially enjoy the Acquarena in Brixen or the outdoor swimming bath in Klausen.
What's about the final cleaning?
We appreciate it if our guests leave the apartments in a clean condition.
Is your farm within walking distance?A walking path leads to the village Latzfons. You can walk from Latzfons to our farm within 10 minutes.
Are there ski regions nearby? What's about other winter activites?In winter you can reach the ski regions Plose, Gröden, Seiseralm, Sarntal, Ratschings, Vals, Gitschberg, Speikboden and Obereggen in less than 1 hour.

Feldthurns does also offer a ski lift. In the villages Latzfons and in Klausen and Brixen are nice ice rinks.The well-known natural toboggan run in Latzfons is a joy for young and grown-ups, but especially for tobogganists in races. You can also do ski- and snowshoe touring in Latzfons.
What can I do in the christmas season?You can visit the christmas markets in Klausen, Brixen, Bozen, Gröden, Meran, Sterzing or Sarntein.
There's a lot going on in the alpine huts in the holidays. It is fun to hike or luge to the huts.
What's about the "Törggelen" and when does it start? The Törggelen does start early in September. Many hikers enjoy walking the "Kastanienweg" (chestnut path) in autumn, which leads from Latzfons to Feldthurns or to the Säben Abbey. During this season, several farms offer rosted chestnuts, wine, apple juice, "Krapfen" fritters, pork with cabbage and "Schlutzkrapfen" (Mezzelune).

End of September, Klausen celebrates the traditional annual "Gassltörggelen" festival.
